Filing is the start, not the finish.
- Watch your email. The USPTO writes to you there. Office actions have deadlines.
- Use the ™ symbol now. Use ® only after you are registered.
- Keep using your mark the way you described it.
- Mark your calendar: proof of use between years 5 and 6 after registration, and renewal every 10 years.
- Watch for copycats by searching your name from time to time.
